We at ASCEND believe that the sharing of knowledge and experience is a truly powerful gift and we strive to provide holistic educational programs that will empower New Canadian children in the region of Kitchener-Waterloo with opportunities to become involved, discover and have fun. We sincerely hope that this program will act as a stepping-stone towards helping our New Canadian family become integrated and embraced with open-hearts by our community.

Key Initiatives of this project:

Provide a supportive and inclusive environment for campers to enhance their English proficiency and discover new interests through learn and play.

Emphasize the importance of building communities, constructive participation and social responsibility. We hope to reflect this by organizing community outreach activities or partaking in charity events

Foster long lasting relationships and interpersonal skills by encouraging group involvement as well as one-to-one mentorship.
